Sarah Dacey Charles
Sarah’s 30-year acting career spans Broadway, TV, and film. Sarah is currently recurring in Season 4 of the TV series Godfather of Harlem, now streaming on MGM+.
Sarah’s many TV and film appearances include: Players, The Blacklist, Prodigal Son, House of Cards, Jessica Jones, & Law & Order: SVU, to name a few.
Sarah’s Broadway and National Touring credits include: Les Misérables, 9 to 5: The Musical and Sunset Boulevard.
In addition to playing iconic regional theatre roles such as Vivian Bearing in Wit, Fosca in Passion, and The Stepmother in Into The Woods, Sarah is currently collaborating on several new musicals with the up-and-coming composer, Rae Covey.
Sarah won the LIFF Best Actor Award for her chilling portrayal of Barbara Stanwyck. Sarah holds an MFA in acting from UC Irvine.
As a playwright, Sarah is currently developing a four-character, full-length play entitled The Family of Things. It is about a queer chosen family whose bonds of friendship are tested by loss and mental illness. After two highly successful readings, Sarah is currently looking to mount a developmental workshop production
